Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with Spark + Spring®. We value craftsmanship, quality, and transparency. This Return & Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds, back-ordered items, and restocking fees are handled for purchases made through https://www.sparkandspring.ca.


1. Returns

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined below.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as received
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging, with tags (if applicable)
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Return requests must be approved prior to sending the item back

Approved returns will receive return authorization instructions.


2. Refunds

Once a returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Refund processing may take 7–10 business days after inspection
  • Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

3. Restocking Fees

Certain returns may be subject to a restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

3.1 When Restocking Fees May Apply

A restocking fee may apply in cases including, but not limited to:

  • Returns initiated for reasons other than damage or defect
  • Returned items requiring inspection, repackaging, or handling beyond standard processing
  • Orders returned due to customer preference, sizing issues, or change of mind
  • Bulk or high-value item returns

3.2 Restocking Fee Amount

  • Restocking fees may range from 10% to 25% of the item’s purchase price, depending on the nature and condition of the return
  • Any applicable restocking fee will be communicated prior to refund processing

3.3 No Restocking Fees

Restocking fees will not apply if:

  • The item is defective or damaged upon arrival
  • The incorrect item was shipped by Spark + Spring®

4. Back-Ordered Items

Some products may be listed as Back-Ordered, meaning fulfillment will occur once inventory becomes available.

4.1 Back-Order Acknowledgement

By purchasing a back-ordered item, you acknowledge:

  • Estimated ship dates are approximate and subject to change
  • Delays may occur due to production or supply chain factors

4.2 Back-Order Refunds

  • Customers may request a full refund for back-ordered items prior to shipment
  • Once shipped, standard return and restocking fee policies apply

5. Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund unless defective:

  • Items clearly marked Final Sale
  • Customized or personalized products once production has begun
  • Limited-edition or hand-finished items where noted at purchase

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Notify us within 7 days of delivery
  • Include your order number and photos of the issue

We will review and offer a replacement, store credit, or full refund, including applicable shipping costs.


7. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • Spark + Spring® is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments
